Who Snoop works with
Two kinds of visit. One calm dog.
Schools and families arrive with different questions, so each has its own page.
For schools
Regulation, attendance, reading, confidence. Snoop works alongside Sasha with individual children, small groups and whole classes.
How Snoop helps in schoolFor families
Gentle one to one sessions for children who are home educated, anxious, or not in school right now.
Sessions for your child
A dog mentor is for everyone.
We do not call Snoop a therapy dog, and neither does the programme he trained on. Children hear the word therapy and ask why they need it. A dog mentor is there for the whole class, the whole staff room, the whole family.
The difference is not just the name. The Dog Mentor programme starts from the dog's welfare and builds a companionship where both sides get something. That is why it works.

How it works
Three steps from enquiry to first visit.
- 1
Tell us about your setting
A short form, then a call with Sasha.
- 2
We plan the visit around you, and around Snoop
The risk assessment is adapted to your site. Staff know what to expect before he arrives.
- 3
Snoop arrives calm, on the lead, for a short session
First visits happen at a quiet time. We build from there.

Welfare first
Snoop's welfare comes first. Always.
Short sessions. Always on the lead. A quiet corner, water and his blanket in every setting, and plenty of sleep in between. If a room is not calm, we leave. That is the deal, and it is why he stays the dog everyone wants to see again.
