Jenny Duckworth, founder of The Dog Mentor, spent the day with us at home. She met Snoop at the door (he barked once, then decided she was fine), walked with us to the park, taught him to crawl and to go over a pole in small steps, and watched him settle on his blanket while she talked.

By the end of the day Snoop had passed his Bronze assessment and Sasha had her Silver certificate. He has an orange coat with his name on it, a bandana, a lead, and an ID card.

The work starts now. Gold comes when we can show the programme in use, which is what this diary is for.
